This Halloween, serve s’mores as a Columbia Heights Truck or Treat volunteer! Every fall, the city hosts a Trick-or-Treating event featuring city service vehicles. Kids get to climb inside fire trucks, plow trucks, tow trucks, and even a medical airlift helicopter!

HeightsNEXT contributes by hosting a bonfire with s’mores. Kids of all ages win their ingredients through games that teach sustainability.

Truck or Treat Volunteering

When

Typically, this Trick-or-Treat event is held at the end of October, before Halloween. The bonfire itself is managed by the fire department. Our s’more station is pretty basic, so planning begins in September.
